Our beloved Inocente Ramirez Chavez, born December 28, 1932, passed away on January 10, 2005. Founder and owner of Inocente?s Cafe on East Cesar Chavez for over 20 years.He was known to many as a great business man and a great humanitarian. Always willing to lend a helping hand if possible. He is an inspiration to everybody who wants to give up, he taught us that you can always try harder to be great.
Survived by: beloved wife of 36 years Maria J. Ramirez; Daughters Sylvia Orellana of Houston; Minerva Ramirez of Austin; Rosa Vargas of California; Sons Inocente Ramirez Jr. of Lockhart, Pedro Inocente Ramirez of San Antonio; Jesus Inocente Ramirez of Austin, Alex Brown, Johnny Brown both of California; Brothers, Jose Guadalupe Ramirez of Austin, Pedro Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez, Roy Ramirez all of Mexico, Sisters, Paula Syliva Robles, Rosa Ella Sosa, Elida Rosales, Irma Rojas all of Austin, Enedelia Ramirez, Arabelia Ramirez, Olga Ramirez all of Mexico. 26 Grandchildren and a host of Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Wednesday, 7:30PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st St.. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday at 2:00PM at San Jose Cahtolic Church, Rev. Tom Frank to officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Gonzales; Roy Ramirez; Eddie Ramirez; Armando Jaramillo; Jose Luis Jaramillo; Ponciano Hernandez; and Luis Gerardo Hernandez.
He has set a great legacy in life for his family and friends and a hopeful and prosperous way of living. Sadly, our heavenly father took a great man from us but we know in our hearts that he is in a better place and he will greatly be missed to all who knew him.
We would like to extend our greatest thanks to Capital Dialysis and all the Doctors and nurses who never gave up.
