Jesusa Martinez Castro, age 75, resident of Austin passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2005. She was preceded in death by husband Jose Mateo Castro; brother Ernest Martinez; sisters Mary Martinez, and Celia Ramirez.
Survivors include: brothers and sisters Petra Castro, Ancieto Martinez, Josefa Castro, Larry Martinez, Melly Martinez, Audelia Martinez; children Margarito Martinez and wife Suzzane; Juan Martinez, Theresa Castro Contreras and husband Tanis Contreras; Gloria Martinez Mares and husband Armando Mares; Irene Castro and husband Jose Espitia; Jesus Castro and wife Elena Castro; Linda Perez; Mateo Castro, Jr. and wife Zeferina Castro; Norma Ibarra and husband Ramon Ibarra ; Eulalio Castro; Richard Castro and wife Yvonne Castro; Sandra Castro and husband Erasmo Vasquez; 52 grand children, 57 great grandchildren, and 2 great grand children all of Austin.
Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First St. Funeral service will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Pastor Zamora will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tanis Contreras, Jr.; John Contreras, Jr.; Jesse Madrigal, Jr.; Michael Castro; Guadalupe Medrano, Jr.; Anthony Moreno; Jesse Castro, Jr.; Armando Mares, Jr.; Armando Castro; Francisco Sillero.
