Our beloved Alfred R. Rangel, age 59, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday August 19, 2004. He will be missed very much by his loving family, but not forgotten. Mr. Rangel is survived by his beloved Wife; Mary Helen Rangel, Daughters; Rachel Rangel, Rebecca Rangel, Sons; Alfred Rangel, III, Gilbert Rangel, Joe Rangel and Jacob Rangel, Sisters; Esperanza Govea, Angelita Esparza, Consuelo Carmona, Mae Zapata, Mary Louise Trevi?o, Gloria Rangel, Linda Torres, Sandy Rangel, Brothers; Gilbert Rangel and Jesse Rangel, Jr.. 8 Grandchildren survive him.
Preceded in death by his parents Alfred T. and Julia Rangel, one Sister and 2 Nephews.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:30p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00a.m. Wednesday at St. Julia?s Catholic Church. Msgr. Lonnie Reyes to officiate. Committal services will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Gilbert R. Rangel, Eddie R. Carmona, Lucio Govea, Jr., Albert Zapata, Pete Esparza, Jr., and Rocky Rangel.
Honorary pallbearers Virgie Carmona, Rick Cantu, Steve Perez, Connie Carmona. and Felix.
