Our beloved Damiana ?Dee? Portillo Garcia, 79, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday July 31, 2004 surrounded by her family.Dee is survived by her beloved Daughter; Margaret Garcia, Brothers; Guadalupe Portillo, Sr., Gonzalo Portillo, Jr., Sisters; Luz Botello, Baudelia Guerra, Inez Mendoza and Dorthy Portillo and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Proceeded in death by her parents, beloved husband Guadalupe E. Garcia, Sr. and a brother Torivio Portillo.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrrection to be celebrated 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jamie Mathias, OMF Conv. to officiate. Committal services will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews.
Honorary pallbearers is Alma Lyra.
