Our beloved Victor Cruz, Sr., 76, a resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday July 25, 2004 surrounded by his loving family.Mr. Cruz is survived by his beloved Children; Lorenzo Cruz and wife Gloria, Aurora Martinez, Victor Cruz, Jr. and wife Mary, Graciela Fabela and husband Faustino, Irene Cordova and husband Ernest, Jr., Alberto Cruz, Johnny Cruz and wife Carmen, Christine Vega and husband Johnny, Becky Torrez and husband Ernest and Steve Cruz, Daughter-in-law; Janie Cruz, 4 Sisters; Helen Reyes, Blasa Romero, Dolores Esparza and Guadalupe Gallardo, 2 Brothers; Anastacio Cruz and Paul Cruz. 22 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren survive him. Preceded in death by his beloved Wife; Julia Cruz in 1996 and a Son Emilio Cruz in 2001
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00pm Monday in the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated 10:00am Tuesday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Larry Mattingly, OMF Conv. to officiate. Committal services to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randy Cruz, Jason Cruz, John Matthew Vega, Casey Barrera, Frutoso Martinez, III and James Cruz.
Special thanks to Hospice Austin Nurse Rosie Walls for the care, love and support given to our beloved father during his illness.
