Our beloved Son and Brother Enrique Romo was called home to Heaven by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 29, 2004 after a valiant and patient struggle with diabetes.Enrique was born to Seferina and Cruz Romo, Sr. on December 8, 1960 in Wellington, Texas. He endured his illness and challenges with strength and determination and above all faith in God. Enrique was a gentleman with the courage and strength of 100 men. Throughout his life he has shown us the true meaning of heroism and love, thank you our darling son and baby brother for bringing joy and beauty into all our lives. Until we reunite in Heaven your beautiful spirit and love will sustain us. Enrique was an accomplished artist and classical music aficionado who imparted that sense of beauty and serenity to his family.
Left to mourn his earthly passing is his beloved Mother; Seferina Romo, Sisters; Flora Eureste, Guadalupe Rivera, Gloria Romo, Lily Romo and Special Niece; Angela Romo, Brothers; Cruz Romo, Jr. and wife Vergie, Johnny Romo, Sylvester Romo, Sr. and wife Ruby, Eziquel Romo and Sam Romo all of Austin, and numerous beloved Nieces and Nephews.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:30pm Wednesday at the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Richard Hall, O.M.I. to officiate. Committal service will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony Rivera, Andy Rivera, Jesse Hernandez, Sylvester Jr. Romo, Benjamin Romo, Chris Romo, Michael Romo and Steve Morris.
