Our beloved Felicitas ?Connie? Mercado Lowry, 74, of Austin died March 18, 2004. Born in Manor Texas on February 2, 1930.A homemaker all of her life, she enjoyed reading, writing and listening to classical music. She loved her children and made sacrifices so that they could have a better life. She touched us all. Mrs. Lowry was preceded in death by her Sister; Victoria M. Sosa, Nephews; Leonardo Santos and Samuel Quesada.
Survived by Great Aunt; Bertha, Brother; George (Mary Louise) Mercado, Sisters; Mary Galvan, Sons; Neal and Jude (Barbara) Herron, Daughter; Sandra (Mark) Heu and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was cared for her by her Nephews; Joe V. (Angelita), Steve (Rebecca) and Mario (Josie) Sosa.
Recitation of rosary 7:30pm Sunday at the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Liturgy services will be celebrated 1:00pm Monday in the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Deacon Mario Renteria to officiate. Committal services will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are members of the family.
