Our light of our lives, our matriarch, Eduwiges (Vica) Duran Flores was called upon by her heavenly Father on February 13, 2004. She is now reunited with her loving husband of 66 years of marriage, Victor Flores, Sr. She was preceded in death by Sons; Victor Flores Jr. and Federico Flores, Daughter; Sally Flores, and Great-Grandson Samuel Jacob Jaramillo. Survivors include: Daughters; Mary Diaz and husband Joe, Frances Samilpa and husband Liandro, Lois Dzenowski and husband Chester, Vera Castro and husband Moses, Nancy Villegas and husband Arturo, and Judy Ann Limon and husband Martin, all of Austin. Brothers; Pete C. Duran and John Duran. Sisters; Louisa Vallejo, Florinda Ruiz and Maria Llanas of Kenosha, Wisconsin. 15 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren. Special Nephew; Prudencio Flores from Indio, California. Recitation of rosary on Sunday 7:00pm, February 15, 2004 at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at San Francisco Catholic Church at 2:00pm on Monday, February 16, 2004. Rev. Fr. Gonzalo Ferrer, C.S.C will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Granddaughters; Dolores Lopez, Esther Lafuente, Juanita Tavares, Rosemary Jaramillo, Annie Malay, Linda Russo and Stella Castro.
