Obituary of Vicente R. Renteria
Our beloved Vicente R. Renteria, Jr., age 73, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He is reunited in harmony with his parents, Vicente Renteria Sr. and Ofelia Ramirez; as well as his daughter, Ofeila Renteria; his brother, Edward Renteria; and his brother-in-law; Will Fabila.
Vicente is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Frances Renteria. As well as his children, Vicente “Gito” Renteria III, and his spouse Rita Renteria, Rodney Renteria and his spouse Susan Renteria, and Ninfa Renteria; his step-daughter, Tricia Perez, and her spouse, John Pesina. In addition, his nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Along with his siblings, Mary Lucero and her spouse Robert, Benney Renteria, and his spouse Dianne, Robert Renteria, and his spouse Michel, Alfred Renteria, and his spouse Melinda, and Wanda Fabila; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Vicente R. Renteria was loved by many friends and family members. He brightened everyone with his charismatic personality. He was a special man that will hold a very unique place in our heart. We will celebrate his arrival into heaven in the following dates:
A public Lie-In-State will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East; a private visitation will follow.
The following morning, Tuesday, April 28, 2020, Mr. Renteria will be laid to rest at a private graveside service at Assumption Cemetery.
