Obituary of Gracie Ann Garza

Our Beloved Gracie Ann Garza, age 65, of Austin, Texas, was called Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, Benito and Virginia Garza, her beloved furbaby Chloe, and fur grandbaby Honey.

She is survived by her children: Amy Samilpa (Victor Vera), John Samilpa (Blanca), Regina Samilpa, and Kristi Samilpa (Tony Thornton); father of her children and confidant, Raymond Samilpa Jr.; special granddaughter Iliana Samilpa; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
