Tio Tom left this world today Mama. I think of you always, but especially during a time like this. I don't know exactly what happens but I have imagined you with your Mom and Dad and brother, happy. That makes me happy. You may see Tio Tom Mom, keep your eyes out for him. I love you and I miss you so much Mom. I look to the day when I can see you again. Forever missing you. ♡♡

I remember Gracie when I was young. My dad would take us with him everywhere. I remember my dads station wagon would smoke so bad. We were so embarrassed to ride in that. She ended up borrowing it and bringing it back with the engine burned up. Lol. . I also remember her from the flea market as well. Good memories. She was a very kind women. My deepest condolences to the family.

I met Gracie working st the Austin Country Flea Mart. Despite the difference in age we became very good friends. We looked forward to my days off so we could enjoy our day together. We shared many
Movie dates, lunch dates on Monday's (Flea Market Pay days)., shopping trips to Ross. (She loved her purses) She was a feisty soul with an amazing heart for others. I will forever cherish the the friendship and the laughter we shared over the past 12 years. My Condolences to all the ones she leaves behind. May you Rest easy, you will be Missed but never forgotten. Love you bunches until we meet again. ❤

My condolences to the Samilpa family. In our younger days, we could find Gracie at any Salsa Dancing event. We had some really good times. So glad I got to visit her while she was in the rehabilitation center. She now has her wings. Gone too soon.

Gracie was an awesome soul .. I met her daughter Amy 30 plus years ago .. ill never forget it I was walking to my house and Amy was passing me on the school bus with nana and she mouthed you live there … it was only a few blocks away and from then on Amy and I became great friends and then before ya knew it I was welcomed into the family .. I am sure Gracie would wonder if I was ever going home on some weekends :) … My favorite memory with her was when she took Amy and I with her to go Salsa dancing .. it was my first time it was so much fun and I was trying to keep up... Gracie was a Pro .. she moved on that dance floor with so much ease it came natural ….. I am so happy you are in a much better place but My heart hurts for my Samilpa Family .. REST IN HEAVEN ….. Don't go to crazy up there on the dance floor …..

I met Gracie at the Austin Country Fleamarket more then 25 years ago and over those years she became my Co-worker, my employee, my friend, and my sister. We shared secrets and laughs and had many adventures together.
I grew to know her family and loved her girls and grandbabies and great grandbabies. Gracie was a unique person, she could irritate you and she had her own little weird habits that no one understood. But you just couldn’t help but love her. She made us laugh with her antics and quirks. I remember her telling me not to wear a sweater again because it looked like my grandma would wear it or that color of jeans I had on made my butt look too big! She was something else.
Her love of music and dance was strong, every chance she got she’d be hitting the dance floor!
She will be so busy in Heaven, teaching the Angels how to Salsa and trying to show everyone the right way to do things.
I loved ya Miss Gracie, and will definitely miss ya Sista......
