Obituary of Samuel Edward Ruiz

Samuel Edward Ruiz was born on October 13, 1960 in Austin, Texas and passed away on July 28, 2006. 

Gracious is the Lord and just, yes our God is merciful the Lord protects the simple. I was helpless but God saved me, returned my soul to rest. The Lord has been good to you for my soul has been freed from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling I shall walk before the Lord and the land of the living. --Psalm 117:5-9

Son of Albert and Sara Ruiz. He is survived by son, Gabriel Davila, and daughter, Jeannie Rain Ruiz. Also survived by sisters, Viola Ruiz, Irma Marie Sanchez, Patricia Bermudez, and Viviana Ruiz-Smith. And many nieces and nephews, who will miss his joyful laughter and playful gestures. Our son, our father, our brother, our uncle, our cousin, our love has left us to join the Lord. We mourn his absence in our life and at the same time rejoice his newfound home in heaven. He will continue to live in our memories cherished within our hearts.

Visitation with the family will be held at Mission Funeral Home at 1615 East Cesar Chavez Road in Austin on Wednesday, August, 2. Rosary on Thursday, August 3, and interment at Assumption Cemetery, corner of IH 35 and Ben White on Friday, August 4th.
