Our beloved Lillie Zavala Perez, age 88, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 25, 2016. `She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Flores and Transita Zavala; her granddaughter, Laura Martinez; great-grandson, Rey Garcia; and her brother, Frank Zavala.
Lillie is survived by her loving children, Terry (Joe) Guzman, Sylvia (Jimmy) Paz, Robert Martinez, Alfred (Del) Martinez, Lillie Jane (Mike) Rivera, and Benito “Benny” (Mary) Perez; her sisters, Frances Perez and Aurora Zavala; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Honored Pallbearers will be Benito Perez, Jr., Angelo Perez, Ricardo Perez, Joseph Piedra, Stephen Piedra, and Gabriel Vallejo.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 11:00 a.m., Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
