Obituary of Annie Louise Green
Please share a memory of Annie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Annie Louise Green was born on May 28, 1927 to George Maxwell and Georgie Jackson in Cooke County, Texas. Living all over the Central Texas area, Louise, affectionately known as Sister Green, ultimately settled in Austin, where she raised her four children, Evelyn Ann (Cookie), Leandrew Tyson, and Clarence Edward, Jim Eddington and her granddaughter Bridget Lee. She later married Frederick Green. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick and her two children, Clarence Edward and Evelyn Ann.
After the loss of her husband and two children, Sister Green began a new life raising great-granddaughters, Stannette Lee and Tiffinni Zidbeck and great-grandson, Diamante Roberson. Sister Green was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness on November 21, 1987.
Sister Green was not only the nucleus and foundation of her family, she was also a mother to many and a mother figure to all. She was a woman of deep Christian faith, whose life was animated by love for Jehovah God and her neighbor. Even in the midst of struggle and trial, she remain a beacon of hope and joy for everyone she knew, especially her family and her congregation.
Sister Green leaves her legacy of love and faith to the following: son, Jim Eddington and children, Melanie and Brandon, wife Lyda and step-children. Son Leandrew Tyson, wife Joann and children. Granddaughter Bridget Lee along with great grandchildren Stannette Lee and Donny Walker with children DeEssence, DeShawn and Dominic Louis Eugene Walker. Tiffinni Zidbeck, Fabian Lee, J.C. Wilson, Sylvia Spencer, Shannon Tyson, Talmas, Courntey, Kayce and their brothers and sisters. Dearest great grandson, Diamante Roberson, his siblings and to all of her many great-great grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends.
