Our beloved Mike M. Davilla, age 69, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 15, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Davila and Cecilia Marrero, daughter, Margie Davila, and brothers, Marshall Davila, and Joe Garcia.
Mike is survived by his loving children, Michael Davila and his wife, Frances, Mike Anthony Davila, Martha Davila and her husband, Neil, Katina Davila and her husband, Jermon, and Margaret Davila; his sisters, Raye Anderson, Maggie Davila, and Cecilia Neuffer; his brother David Sanchez; 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Davila, Damon Davila, Mike Anthony Davila, Gilbert Davila, Renee Garcia, Maggie Davila, Randy Anderson, and Carl Neuffer. Honorary Pallbearer will be Preston Barrero.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, E. 2nd St. and Robert T. Martinez. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
