Kathryn Knowlton Hall, 83, resident of Austin, passed away with her family at her bedside, October 18, 2015. Kathryn was born December 27, 1931, in Corvallis, Oregon to Frank Knowlton Jr. and Esther Grua Knowlton. Kathryn was raised in Oregon and completed her studies with a Bachelorette degree in education. She taught in the school district for many years, including in Oregon and California. She met the love of her life Wallie R. Hall, and married in 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they had two wonderful children. Kathryn worked for a floral shop for many years, and had the opportunity to make the floral arrangements for her daughters wedding day. Kathryn loved to travel, and worked for a travel agency for a period, but always stayed dedicated to her husband and family. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings. Kathryn leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 57 years; Wallie R. Hall, two children; Christine Schraff and husband Christopher, of Austin, TX, Ken D. Hall, of California, and one grandson; Sam Schraff, of Austin, TX. Family will be having a private memorial service at a later date.
